My name is Kimberly Knox and my goal is to help others appreciate all the benefits that the outdoor lifestyle has to offer. By sharing my experiences and knowledge, I can make it fun and safe for folks to build their outdoor skills and have their own successful adventures. I have a passion for meeting, connecting, sharing, and encouraging others outdoors.
My relevant experience includes: South American adventure travel guide, ski instructor, volunteer ski patrol, lifeguard, retail outdoor store manager, outdoor and ski industry sales representative. I have skied, hiked, rock climbed, mountain biked, paddle boarded,and river rafted all over the USA and the continents of South America, Europe, Africa, and Asia.
I am proud to live in Georgetown and have given back to my community by serving on the Library Boards, helping to found a charter community elementary school, and envisioned, created, and managed an interactive community project to renovate the playground in our National Historic Landmark District.
I am married to Daren an avid mountain biker and skier. We have raised two outdoorsy daughters, Chloe and Ella. Also, our goldendoodle, Hazel, loves to hike and ski with us!
