Owner Kimberly Knox is an outdoor enthusiast with years of experience and volumes of knowledge to share on how to safely navigate the great outdoors and have a ton of fun while you do it.
She’s been an adventure guide, a ski instructor, a volunteer ski patrol, a lifeguard, an outdoor retailer store manager, and an outdoor and ski industry sales representative. She’s skied, hiked, rock climbed, mountain biked, paddle boarded, and river rafted all over the USA and the continents of South America, Europe, Africa, and Asia.
She knows what’s what, and she can help you prepare for your next adventure. Kimberly enjoys being a "wing woman" so you can learn from her life's experience outdoors.
PERSONAL SHOPPING
Having the right gear—including clothes that keep you warm, dry, and comfortable—is essential for enjoying your time outdoors. We can help you find just what you need!
Price: $50/hour

- Suggest resources
- Consult to help you understand the concepts of the function and fit of clothing, boots, or gear. And, how to select the right products for you.
PACKING SERVICE
Getting ready for a ski or backpacking trip and not sure what’s essential or how to fit it all in your bag? We can show you what to pack and how to pack it.
Price: $50/hour
Includes:
- Planning and packing list
- Consult on how to get it to fit and function in the backpack or bag
FIRST-TIME BACKPACKER
Ready to try your first backpacking trip? We can guide you through choosing an appropriate route for you to navigate, give you a packing list, and teach you the basics that will help you build your outdoor knowledge for years to come.
Price:
$50/hour
Includes:
- Guidance through the process of selecting an appropriate route for you to navigate.
- Packing list and demonstration how to pack your backpack for function and comfort
- Instruction on how to set up a camp, tent, light a stove, or other skills.
FIRST-TIME CAMPER
Ready to try camping but not sure where or how to start? We can help you decide where to go, what to pack, and what the heck to do when you get there. We will even meet you there (within a reasonable distance and conditions) to kick things off and help you get to the fun faster.
Price: $50/hour
Includes:
- Planning and packing support
- Onsite assistance with camp set-up
- Instruction in camping basics with “leave no trace” ethics
- Tips for maximizing your camping experience.
14er TRAINING
Interested in climbing your first 14,000-foot peak, but not sure how to prepare? We’ll create a customized training plan just for you, maximizing your safety and your joy when you reach that summit!
Price:
$300 for the 1-month training program
Available starting June 2021
Includes:
- One 3 hour hike each week for 2 weeks. On varied terrain.
- A packing list and safety seminar that will help you build your outdoor knowledge for years to come.
OUTDOOR SAFETY CLASSES
Want to get those kids off the screen and into nature? We offer outdoor safety classes for youth groups, scout troops, and homeschool or remote learning pods. We’ll show kids the wonder of nature and how to enjoy it safely.
Price:
$25 - $35/Student depending on your programming needs - minimum of 6 kids
